Physiotherapy
The role of physiotherapy is to regain full potential, in movement, performance and independence, by speeding up the repair process and reducing pain. Physiotherapy may involve the use of physical means, such as, ultrasound application, interferential therapy, heat therapy and manual techniques for quick recovery or increase in restricted movement. For example, soft tissue release techniques and joint mobilization techniques might be used to minimise discomfort and/or stiffness.
Customised therapeutic exercises and stretches for each individual would also assist in maintaining optimal physical health. Sports Physio Eye Development TM (SPEED) Training is a unique programme designed to enhancing sports movement performance, improving the eye’s ability to focus and to coordinate with different parts of the body.
